In 1981 at the age of 17 he founded the now Multi-Platinum rock band Queensryche. And now after almost 30 years together they have toured around the world dozens of times in over 45 countries and have released over 14 records and with sales over 30 million copies worldwide.

Within this collection you can expect to find in excess of 650MB of content recorded at 24Bit between 130 – 183Bpm. Scott recorded 5 full tracks which have been split into 60 stereo loops (including intro, verse, chorus, bridge, fills etc), and then you also get 165 Loops which are the multitrack loops from these sessions which allow you to mix the beats how you want to hear them, with separated kick, snare, overhead and room mic samples for all the main loop sections. In addition we asked Scott to ‘Rock Out’ for a while and we have edited 60 Bonus drum Loops from this session which feature some truly Rock u mentus drumming!

In addition to this awesome collection of samples producers will also find 76 single Drum samples ready for programming your own beats, and these are also incorporated into 6 Ready to play kits mapped for soft samplers including Reason NNXt, Halion, EXS, SFZ and Kontakt. The pack is also available in Apple Loops format, Reason Refill and as an Ableton Live Pack.

When talking about the most precise drummers out there, lots of names come up, such as Neil Pert, Mike Portnoy, Stewart Copeland.  Another name that must be thrown into the conversation is Queensryche’s Scott Rockenfield.  Scott is a true musician and all around nice guy. He was willing to step in for band mate Geoff Tate, at the last minute, after Geoff was delayed in getting back to the venue for our scheduled interview. Scott talked about how ‘American Soldier’ came to light. We also touched upon his long relationship with his band mates in Queensryche.
