Julio’s Liquors is planning an “Insania Event” with Geoff Tate of Queensryche in association with Ernie Bach, Jr.’s charity “Music Drives Us”. Geoff Tate now makes two wines called “Insania Red” and “Insania White”.  Geoff was in the store last month for a tasting/signing and at which we sold well over 200 bottles.  He will be back to the store on October 25 (from 6pm until finished) for a second tasting/signing, but this time we will also add a short acoustic set by Queensryche at the end of his appearance.  We will need to limit the number of attendees to the acoustic set to about 150, so this is how we plan on doing that.  Julio’s will pre-sell (on-line only) 100 gift sets of Insania Red and White @ $71.98 (with $6 per set going to “Music Drives Us”).  Then, the day of the signing/tasting we will sell 50 more Insania sets @ $77.98 (with $12 from each of these sets going to “Music Drives Us”).

The Logistics

Julio’s will pre-sell (on-line only) 100 gift sets of Insania Red and White @ $71.98. Each of these people will electronically receive a numbered voucher for a pass for one to the acoustic set, the signed wines and a signed poster which they will pick-up at Geoff Tate’s table.

For 50 people who do not pre-buy their Insania set, there is still a chance to get into the set. 50 people in line at Julio’s Liquors on October 25th who have not pre-purchased may buy an Insania set for $77.98. They will have the wines signed and boxed then proceed to the register, pay for the boxed Inania set and receive a signed poster and the pass to the acoustic set. We will only have 150 boxes on the table next to Geoff so that we will know when all of the passes are gone. Others in line may purchase wine and have it signed at the regular bottle price.
