KISW'S "ROCK FOR RELIEF"

:: 08:58 ::

The recent events in New Orleans, and all of the Gulf Coast, have shown us how easy it is to lose everything in the blink of an eye. Thousands of people have lost their homes, their belongings and even members of their family. Queensryche & KISW have decided to help - and we're enlisting the help of our all of our friends in the Rock community, including you!

Join Queensryche & KISW next Sunday, September 11th at The Showbox, 1st & Pike in downtown Seattle, for a benefit concert and silent auction dedicated to the victims of Hurricane Katrina! Doors at 7pm, and a live show featuring Post Stardom Depression, Point One and Queensryche begins at 7:30! There will also be a silent auction where you can bid on items like an autographed Judas Priest guitar, a framed and autographed Ozzy Osbourne poster, and the chance to photograph System of a Down at their upcoming Key Arena show! Tickets go on sale at all Ticketswest outlets Tuesday at 10am for only $9.99. All ages show, bar with ID. All proceeds from the auction and tickets sales will go directly to The Red Cross to aid those who were affected by Hurricane Katrina earlier this week. Keep checking back for more information on the silent auction items!

After much speculation and not without a few delays, Slave To The System have officially finalized their deal with Spitfire/Eagle Rock Records. The principle band members, Damon Johnson, Scott Rockenfield and Kelly Gray, have confirmed an international deal for three albums with worldwide distribution. With two of the full length albums already recorded and mixed, there are plans to re-package the independently released debut album with some unreleased new material added to the tracklist. Depending on coordination of multiple schedules and the availability of Roman Glick on bass guitar, STTS hopes to promote the new release with U.S. and international tour dates starting early next year....!!!

"TOTALISTI" ...produced and recorded completely by Scott Rockenfield

:: 08:23 ::

"Totalisti is a Hard Rock band from Enumclaw, Washington. They are a touring band with a charismatic show that reveals their flare for life. They sweat, they scream, they harmonize, they whisper, and they pour it all into their instruments. This is definitely a record in which you must listen to more than once to catch everything. It has depth, and emotion, and critical points that a sharp ear will hear, and an intent mind will grasp." ---Produced by Scott Rockenfield from Queensryche."
